Project Description
The City of Fort Wayne's Bike Rack Program is part of a broader initiative to promote active transportation and support a more bicycle-friendly community. With over 400 bike racks installed throughout the city, the program enhances accessibility for cyclists, making it easier to commute, run errands, and explore local businesses.
Investing in bicycle infrastructure helps the community by boosting the local economy, improving safety, and encouraging healthier lifestyles. Well-placed bike racks and trails attract tourism and provide greater access to businesses, further strengthening Fort Wayne's commitment to sustainable and active transportation.
