Project Description
As a part of Mayor Sharon Tucker’s key initiatives for 2025, announced in her recent State of the City address, the City of Fort Wayne is launching an important effort to strengthen our business corridors and drive economic growth. In collaboration with Fort Wayne Marketing and Fort Wayne Community Schools AMP Lab, this initiative will develop a distinct brand for the East State Village business corridor that reflects its unique identity and opportunities.
This initiative is a collaborative effort involving local stakeholders, marketing professionals, and community leaders to create a strategic and impactful brand that drives engagement and growth.
Where Will These Appear?
Once the branding is finalized, Fort Wayne Marketing will refine the logo into a format that can be used on banners, signage, stickers, and merchandise to promote the East State Village community. The goal is to create something that is easily identifiable as "East State Village" and can be shared throughout the region.
The graphic logo/file will remain the property of the City of Fort Wayne.
Who Created These Logos?
The City of Fort Wayne, in partnership with Amp Lab at Electric Works and Fort Wayne Marketing, worked on the research, development, and design of the East State Village Corridor Logos. While Fort Wayne Marketing created the logos you see, they had assistance from students at Fort Wayne Community Schools' Amp Lab, who completed market research, interviewed business owners, and drafted concepts that inspired the final logos. The students who participated in this project did so as a class project at Amp Lab, and are students at Wayne High School and Northrop High School.
