Ordinance approving Construction Contract – Hanna St Trail: East Wallace St to East Berry St. This project will enhance neighborhood connectivity for residents of the East Central neighborhoods. Concrete drive and alley approaches, new ADA curb ramps and upgraded storm sewer infrastructure are included along with connecting sidewalk segments. Applicant was the lowest, most responsive bidder of 4 bidders.

Ordinance approving Construction Contract – Hanna St Trailhead 612 E Pettit Ave. This project will improve the southwest corner of Hanna and E Pettit and add trailhead parking and rest area for the 4.5 mile Hanna St Trail. It will add 13 parking spaces, drinking water fountain, park benches and bike racks.

Ordinance approving Professional Services Agreement – City Utilities On Call Construction Management/Resident Project Representative/Inspection Services. These outside consultants have been used for many years; by utilizing these firms CU is able to meet the fluctuation of high construction activity during the summer months and lower constriction demands for the rest of the year. These on-call services are billed at an hourly rate. There has been a slight increase from the 2021 rate. This current rate is for 2 years.

This on call agreement is designed to secure pricing from multiple qualified contractors for utility mains and services. This enables the utility to leverage large quantity pricing and help the Utility be immediately responsive to address emergencies

Ordinance amending Chapter 53 of the City Code of Ordinances. Board of Stormwater Management has recommended changes to this chapter specifically regarding certain pre and post construction stormwater and erosion control requirements. Requires all properties to have a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3). This can be for an individual property, or a property can be covered by a larger plan. There may be a cost associated with this.
