In partnership with the City of Fort Wayne and Everyone Home, multiple Cooling Stations have been opened in Fort Wayne to help those needing to find a place to fight the heat. Unless otherwise noted, the Cooling Stations will be open when the temperatures hit 90 degrees or higher.
The Rescue Mission’s day shelter is open 7 days a week from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Open regardless of temperature. Adults can access overnight shelter here as well.

The Salvation Army Cooling Station is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
