Project Description

This project will include the reconstruction of select streets, sidewalks, ADA ramps, curbs and approaches. As well as subsurface drainage, select tree removal necessary for construction and park strip restoration.

  • Possible restricted access while construction is in progress.
  • Drive approaches may be inaccessible on the side of the street that is being worked on. Depending on the weather, this can range from 3 weeks or more.
  • Do not drive on newly poured concrete until such time that the contractor has removed restricted access items (caution tape, barricades or barrels) as doing so will weaken the concrete potentially damaging it. It will be the homeowner's responsibility to repair damages to the drive approach if driven on early.
  • Drive slowly and cautiously through the job site, especially when the contractor is on site working.
  • It will be loud, dirty and dusty.
  • Do not move barricades or cut caution tape. The contractor is responsible for removing them once it is acceptable for the new concrete to be driven on. Moving barricades or barrels and/or disturbing cordoned-off areas is cause for fines to be levied against the offender per City Ordinance 99.007.
  • The contractor will not water the grass seed. It will be the property owner’s responsibility to water the grass seed to ensure proper and adequate growth.
  • On trash day, place trash & recycle bins on the side of the street that is not being worked on.
