Project Description

Right of Way is seeking to replace broken and crumbling sections of sidewalk downtown around Citizens Square and the History Center. Construction will take place on the north side of E Berry St (between US 27 & Barr St) and the south side of Wayne St (between Clinton & Barr St). In addition to replacing sidewalk, drive approaches and ADA ramps will be improved as well.

This project will bring sidewalks up to City-specs while adding a brick banding to match the surrounding area. See pictures below for examples of what the finished product will look like.

During construction, access to the parking lot on Wayne St will be restricted. Please do not move barricades or walk through roped off construction zones.
