Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation 2024 Comprehensive Plan

The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department, on behalf of the Fort Wayne Board of Park Commissioners, has engaged Design Workshop, a world-renowned landscape architecture and park planning firm, to work with Park's planning staff to develop a comprehensive plan for the park system.

We need your input!

Over the past year, the City of Fort Wayne’s Parks and Recreation Department has been working to develop the Fort Wayne 2024 Park System Comprehensive Plan. The draft Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Plan is ready for your valuable input, and we want you to be a part of this transformative process through providing your input.

Your feedback will directly influence the decisions that shape the future of our parks, trails, facilities, and recreational programs. By participating in the planning process, you'll join a network of passionate residents, stakeholders, and decision-makers united in their commitment to enhancing our community's recreational assets.

A hard copy of the plan is available at the City Parks and Recreation Department offices, 705 E State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. The comment period will be open from May 13th, 2024 - June 13th, 2024.
