Project Description

This Towpath trailhead construction will involve increasing the current parking area from nine spaces to 15 spaces. The lot will also be repaved and repainted.

  • Extending the parking lot to the east
  • Repaving the existing parking lot
  • Increasing the parking spots from 9 to 15
  • Placing topsoil and grass seed then the project is completed
  • The east bound lane of Glendale Road will be open to traffic but may be blocked by construction equipment or vehicles for intermittent periods
  • Drive slowly and cautiously around the job site, especially when the contractor is on site working
  • It will be dusty and dirty
  • Do not move barricades, the contractor will move them and open the road to traffic when it is acceptable
  • Once the topsoil, grass seed and mulch is applied it will be the homeowner's responsibility to water the restoration areas to ensure proper, adequate grass growth.
  • On trash day, place trash/recycle bins where the trash company can retrieve them

  • PAY ATTENTION

    AVOID DISTRACTIONS!

    Be aware of all signage and reduced speeds. Avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating/drinking, and radio.

  • BARRICADES

    DO NOT MOVE BARRICADES!

    The contractor will move them once pavement passes testing and can withstand vehicle weights.

  • WORKER SAFETY

    BE PREPARED TO STOP!

    Slow down and give workers extra room. Drive cautiously through the jobsite especially If workers are on site.
