Project Description

The project will rehabilitate the bridge, widen the sidewalks on the bridge for pedestrians and remove the current load postings. The project will also include scour protection which mitigates erosion, enhances structural stability, and prolongs the lifespan of the bridge.

What to expect during construction:

  • Temporary traffic detours
  • It will be dusty, dirty and noisy
  • Equipment on site
  • Do not move barricades. The contractor will move them and open the road to traffic when it is acceptable to do so.

  • PAY ATTENTION

    AVOID DISTRACTIONS!

    Be aware of all signage and reduced speeds. Avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating/drinking, and radio.

  • BARRICADES

    DO NOT MOVE BARRICADES!

    The contractor will move them once pavement passes testing and can withstand vehicle weights.

  • WORKER SAFETY

    BE PREPARED TO STOP!

    Slow down and give workers extra room. Drive cautiously through the jobsite especially If workers are on site.
