Project Description

This project includes corridor improvements along Goshen Road between Cambridge Blvd and W Coliseum Blvd. Improvements will consist of roadway widening, installation of pedestrian facilities, ADA compliance measures, street lighting, and urban landscaping. Also, a roundabout will be constructed at the intersection of Butler and Harris Roads with a slight roadway realignment to enhance traffic flow. Phase II of the project will encompass Cambridge Blvd to the south of the RR underpass and Phase III will complete Goshen Rd improvements south of the RR underpass to Coliseum Blvd.

What to expect during construction:

  • Two-way traffic will be maintained on Goshen Road
  • Access to public streets and properties will be preserved
  • Possible noise, dust, and traffic delays due to the construction

Design Renderings

Goshen Road will be constructed in two phases, as outlined in the project renderings below.

  • Phase II - A new roundabout will be constructed at the intersection of Butler and Harris Roads with a slight roadway realignment to enhance traffic flow

  • PAY ATTENTION

    AVOID DISTRACTIONS!

    Be aware of all signage and reduced speeds. Avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating/drinking, and radio.

  • BARRICADES

    DO NOT MOVE BARRICADES!

    The contractor will move them once pavement passes testing and can withstand vehicle weights.

  • WORKER SAFETY

    BE PREPARED TO STOP!

    Slow down and give workers extra room. Drive cautiously through the jobsite especially If workers are on site.
