Program Description

The Inclusion Institute at The League is focused on building bridges between people with disabilities, community leaders, and policy makers to ensure people with lived experience are engaged in the decision-making process. The Institute was founded in the spring of 2022 and formed community coalitions to address common challenges that our peers with disabilities encounter, equip people who want to advance an idea, and build partnerships that advance solutions that improve the quality of life for people with disabilities across northeast Indiana Accessible Neighborhoods Team works to expand the availability of accessible, affordable, and integrated housing options;

*Connected Community Team works to enhance transportation and infrastructure to improve connectivity.

*Deaf Access Alliance works to advance communication access for the Deaf and hard of hearing community

*Economic Advancement Team works to lessen barriers to economic independence for people with disabilities.

In an effort to better communicate with our community partners regarding infrastructure issues in your neighborhood or public space, we have created this short survey. Your input will help us address infrastructure issues in Fort Wayne. Your participation is important and should only take a few minutes. Please click the link below. Thank you!
