The City of Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department has removed and replaced the existing Lawton Park Pedestrian Bridge in the Spy Run Neighborhood. This project included the demolition of the existing trestle bridge structure and construction of a new bridge and associated site improvements over Spy Run Creek on the St Marys Pathway. The bridge was officially opened in May of 2025.
