Pontiac Street, between Oliver Street and South Anthony Boulevard, runs between the Oxford and Renaissance Pointe Neighborhoods and is located on Fort Wayne's Southeast Side. The first phase of the project reconstructed Pontiac Street from Hanna to Oliver Streets. This second phase includes:

Project Scope

• Implement traffic calming solutions (narrow drive lanes, widen sidewalk, removal or addition of on-street parking, addition of park strips, etc.).
• Enhanced streetscape with the addition of trees, planter beds, and green infrastructure.
• Introduce special pavement type, banners, and lighting.
• Reconstruction of curbs and walks to meet current ADA standards.
• Reconstruction of all deteriorated drive approaches.
• Updated stormwater drainage to facilitate changes in street design.
