Program Description
The City of Fort Wayne invites proposals from qualified nonprofit organizations for a competitive Recovery Residence Capital Grant opportunity supported by State and local Opioid Settlement funds. This funding is intended to assist in the purchase, construction, renovation, or acquisition of facilities to be designated as Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) Level II, III, or IV Recovery Residences.
Funded projects must accept residents prescribed all forms of FDA-approved medication for opioid use disorder (MOUD) and commit to maintaining operation as a DMHA-designated recovery residence for at least ten years beyond the grant period. Eligible capital expenses may be fully funded through this opportunity.
Proposals will be evaluated on organizational experience, program design, and long-term sustainability. Applications are due by 5:00 PM (ET) on November 19, 2025, and all interested applicants are encouraged to schedule a one-on-one technical assistance session with OHNS staff prior to submission.
