Project Description

This project consists of reconstructing Ridgewood Drive from North Clinton St. to Newport Ave. by removing chip/seal pavement and replacing with new subbase and asphalt, adding sidewalks, curbs, ADA Ramps, storm drainage, street lighting, and restoration.

  • Ridgewood Road will be closed during construction except for local traffic.
  • Parkhill Avenue, Forest Hill Avenue, and Newport may be closed at the intersection with Ridgewood Drive during construction.
  • Construction will be muddy, dusty and noisy at times.
  • Do not move barricades or remove caution tape.
  • Drive approaches will be closed for 7-14 days for cure time.

  • PAY ATTENTION

    AVOID DISTRACTIONS!

    Be aware of all signage and reduced speeds. Avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating/drinking, and radio.

  • BARRICADES

    DO NOT MOVE BARRICADES!

    The contractor will move them once pavement passes testing and can withstand vehicle weights.

  • WORKER SAFETY

    BE PREPARED TO STOP!

    Slow down and give workers extra room. Drive cautiously through the jobsite especially If workers are on site.
