Project Description
After an initial round of community input, the Parks and Recreation Department has developed a conceptual plan for improvements to Wells Street Park, located at 404 3rd St.
Measuring 0.11 acres, the park offers a small open space with benches in the midst of the Wells Street commercial district, at the intersection of Wells and Third Streets.

The proposed improvements include:
- Plaza with tables and chairs for outdoor dining
- Low retaining wall with opportunity for art and/or sign from the old Fire House #6
- Open green space for events
- Improved landscape using native plants
The Parks and Recreation Department is asking for comments on the proposed design from the surrounding neighborhood. Please complete the survey below. We appreciate your feedback!
Once comments have been received, a design firm will be hired to finalize the design and complete construction documents for the proposed improvements.
