Project Description

This project is a 5' wide sidewalk along Wells Street from Lillian Ave to N Franke Park Dr. This project also includes Type III curbs, curbface walk, ADA ramps, bus pads, commercial & residential drive approaches & storm sewer improvements.

Before Construction

  • New Curbs and Drive Approaches

  • Expect traffic delays along Wells St periodically during construction.
  • Drive slowly and cautiously through the job site, especially when the contractor is on site working.
  • It will be dirty and dusty.
  • Do not move barricades. The contractor will move them when concrete has cured.
  • The contractor will not water the grass seed. It will be the property owner’s responsibility to water the grass seed to ensure proper and adequate growth.

  • PAY ATTENTION

    AVOID DISTRACTIONS!

    Be aware of all signage and reduced speeds. Avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating/drinking, and radio.

  • BARRICADES

    DO NOT MOVE BARRICADES!

    The contractor will move them once pavement passes testing and can withstand vehicle weights.

  • WORKER SAFETY

    BE PREPARED TO STOP!

    Slow down and give workers extra room. Drive cautiously through the jobsite especially If workers are on site.
