The Project
In the Fall of 2023, Shout-Out: Fort Wayne began working closely with the neighborhood associations of the historic Harvester and East Central neighborhoods. Each neighborhood, through the project, completes two phases of art exhibitions: temporary (Year One) and permanent (Year Two) installations. Community activities are also created to generate interest for both phases.
In early 2025, Shout-Out: Fort Wayne began working with the Mount Vernon Park and Fairfield Terrace Belmont neighborhoods.
Local Filmmaker and Creative Director William Bryant Rozier, Shout-Out: Fort Wayne’s Project Manager, collaborates with the associations the residents of the neighborhood to create the projects.
Community Activities
In July 2025, Artist Lyndy Bazille (AfroPlump) met residents of the Fairfield Terrace Belmont neighborhood at their annual block party for feedback on their temporary art exhibit project. The feedback centered on heroic attributes found in the neighborhood. Continuing the theme of local superheroes, Spider-Man joined neighborhood children for a coloring date at the Shawnee Branch Library in November.
