The Project

In the Fall of 2023, Shout-Out: Fort Wayne began working closely with the neighborhood associations of the historic Harvester and East Central neighborhoods. Each neighborhood, through the project, completes two phases of art exhibitions: temporary (Year One) and permanent (Year Two) installations. Community activities are also created to generate interest for both phases.

In early 2025, Shout-Out: Fort Wayne began working with the Mount Vernon Park and Fairfield Terrace Belmont neighborhoods.

Local Filmmaker and Creative Director William Bryant Rozier, Shout-Out: Fort Wayne’s Project Manager, collaborates with the associations the residents of the neighborhood to create the projects.

Community Activity #1

DJ Polaris held a music workshop at Levan Scott Academy’s Hispanic Culture Night on September 25. His lesson connected the dots of music lineages…how cultures influenced each other musically.

Silent Disco

On November 13, the neighborhood held a Silent Disco, with music curated by DJ Polaris that represents the various cultural groups MVP boasts. A small marching band (trumpeter, drummer, and a guitarist) played while walking around the school, announcing the start of the event.
