Project Description

The ultimate goal of the Neighborhood Status Assessment (NSA) is to empower residents to independently manage their neighborhood association. A member of the Department of Neighborhoods team works directly with each neighborhood association to provide support and resources, and implement best practices in community engagement and revitalization for a period of 12-18 months.

During the process, each neighborhood receives

  • A dedicated Department of Neighborhoods mentor
  • Support to build (or rebuild) their neighborhood association
